    Donations For School Kids

We are planning on bringing an extra suitcase with stuff to donate to the school kids. What kind of things do they need and or like?

According to a few posts I've read on trip advisor...people bought crayons, pencils, notebooks, toothbrushes and candy. I say go to the dollar tree and load up there! Hope this helps!

I found most basic supplies (pens, pencils, crayons, paper) are plentiful there and cost about the same as here but found these harder to get or afford items very much appreciated by teachers.

Yellow highlighters, scotch tape, small to medium size dry erase boards & markers, plain and ruled index cards, stapler w/staples, masking tape, paint brushes, push pins, glue sticks, blackboard chalk w/eraser, first aide supplies. Once I included a little hand bell to be rang to get the kids' attention. the teacher LOVED that thing.

I pack some of the supplies in shoe boxes which they put to good use also.
