I love Negril and have been there a lot, but there is crime there. I would not say it's unsafe, though. It's a very peaceful place. But beware of your belongings because things like cell phones and lap tops can sometimes disappear a bit more frequently than your average US city.
Not sure where you get your statistics, Gerry...but as someone living here daily and from both Rob's and my own personal experience, I would definitely have to disagree with you. I've seen more electronics etc. that were lost/misplaced being returned to owners than anywhere else I've ever lived.Originally Posted by gerryg123
