The concert is still ongoing - coming up soon Tessanne Chin; Taurus Riley & band, and still more.
A joy. Does anyone know if you send text from abroad if that can be a contribution?
On the web site you can contibute what you wish. It is quoted in US dollars and you can contibute via credit card and Pay Pal. ( my choice) Please send your love , support and most importantly your dollars ( whatever you can spare will make a BIG difference) To the children and Jamaica. Land we Love. Enjoy the show.
I don't know about texting donations outside of JA, but donations via creditcard can be made here:

It is a great concert - some of the earlier acts that really stood out - Carlene Davis and her backup singers gave a great tribute to Nelson Mandela; also the Mighty Diamonds were sounding and dancing as they were still youngsters. Ne-Yo was also really good. And the surprise performance from Jr Gong was fantastic!
Chronixx on now, still to come Taurus Riley and others.
That was a fantastic show. I made a donation, hope all the Boardies did the same.
Stayed up till 3:30 watching it. It was so good, so many awesome moments. Now I have a really good idea who not to pass up if I ever get the chance to see them live. After watching the concert, I found that one of my favorites might have slipped a spot or two and someone who wasn't necessarily a favorite shot up the list.
It was definately a great show and they earned a good donation from me! I could not manage to stay online until the end of the show (Sean Paul was still performing when I crashed). I don't think I could name a favourite, but really enjoyed Tarrus Riley (and Dean Fraser who has lot a lot of weight and is looking great), Carlene Davis and the Mighty Diamonds and also Chronixx. A couple performances bombed for me (Macka Diamond and Assassin) but all in all marvelous. Of the performers who I had never seen/heard in person, I now want to see live shows of Jr Gong, Jah Cure and Chronixx.
Even though the concert is over, donations are still being accepted by Food for the Poor (who will direct the funds on to the Childrens Hospital). Donations can be made at:

Saw the show and really enjoyed it. Thought Tessanne was great. It was fun seeing her sing all of the songs from The Voice. But, I really enjoyed the end of the her set the most, when she did "her" songs. Loved the reggae twist on Tumbling Down.
Highly recommend seeing Damien anytime you can. Caught him at Sumfest last summer. His performance was powerful. Jah Cure was good too. I was so happy that they live streamed the show! That Shaggy knows how to get things done.
