Is the Royal Palm Reserve closed?

First time I went there was long ago before it was officially opened, still under construction. So sad it has fallen into disrepair... not just for us visitors but for the Jamaican children who would make field trips there from their schools. It's important for the children to learn by experience. The education center there - seen on a subsequent trip - was top notch. What a loss.

Got to agree Yvonne!! Last visit there was with Vincent, via boat, and it was truly an experience. Low key but truly nature at its best. There was a group of school children there that day. So very sad that the kids won't be able to visit and get the educational value of the Royal Palm Reserve.
