    One night on the cliffs?

I'm thinking of spending one night on the westend when I am there next month. I'd like to spend a day roaming around up there and not have to come back to the beach that night. Just one night- any suggestions?

They have a 3 night minimum stay.

I too, recommend the Blue Cave Castle. If they have vacancy, I'm sure a guest with cash in hand could stay for one night. I think the 3 night stay is a requirement for making online reservations.

Not sure of your budget but Hide Awhile is an amazing property with private 2 story cottages with a full kitchen. very secluded. Think they have a pool now. It way at the end of the cliffs though as they face west. Blue cave castle is great as I love the Penthouse suite and is very affordable. No AC but 100 feet above the water so great breezes. Not sure on the minimum stay though.

You can get Mirage for about $80, great seaview, AC, bed, fridge, continental breakfast. Beside Tensing Pen, close to Wise Choice, Sharks, Ahhbees.

I wanted to edit and lost the whole thing! Rats!

We have stayed at Sunset on the Cliffs a number of times. It ain't the Ritz, but it's great. The pool is one of the loveliest around, the view can't be beat - you may even see the dolphins frolicking by; the staff are friendly, warm, professional. You are steps away from Eddy's Da Bar, a convenience store, Sips 'n Bites (a must!), Erica's. There is a fruit stand that is great right across the street in front of Eddy's. Security is great - love Melvin - if you go, give him a hug from me. They have gone through some recent changes, and are out to please! I have never asked for anything that didn't magically appear - including a happy hour! They were $50 a night last summer; maybe you can get that rate. Secure safe in every room. Beautiful grounds (Dudley is a love! Their groundskeeper - give him a hug, too, for me, please). The cliff side terracing is gorgeous! Fridges are available for an upcharge of $10 a day and the bar will happily provide you with ice. AC works well.

The rooms are bigger than most! A bit dated, but big and serviceable.

Safe? Accidentally left $$ out one day, and it was neatly left on the bedside table, along with my Kobo. Honestly. We had to chase housekeeping to take the room tip we left for them!

PM is you want the manager's cell number. He's awesome and ready to deal! Never had a problem that wasn't solved instantly to our satisfaction. Like I said, out to please. Oh, and the AC is good - but let them know you want functioning AC and check it before you take the room. They will move you or make it right.
