I wonder if this could be due to people parking their cars on the sidewalks (as I have seen in pictures). When the sidewalks were poured they may have only reinforced them in the driveway areas that would normally be subject to traffic. The areas between driveways might not have been reinforced (cost savings). Then people drive on them and park their cars on the weaker concrete causing it to break. Just a thought. No proof to what I am thinking, except for pictures of cars parked on the sidewalks.Originally Posted by 68Stang
