    Cliffs solo

Woohoo @ just booked for thanksgiving weekend. Lost count, but at least 8 trips over 20 years!
Coming solo, and prefer the cliffs. Catcha is my fav, but seems to be booked. Stayed at Blue Castle a decade ago.

Recommendations for cliff housing for solo traveler seeking a/c and great views??

What are friendly hang out cliff spots during day for solo traveler other than xtabi?

Wondering why no Xtabi? That place that has no place in my heart is sort of the mid ground for cliff places. More details can narrow it down......

Samsara deals can be found online but research...and then research.

If you can get up a lane a little, Mangotree and Trigess 2 might be some great options close to the ocean (but up a lane) but....great places.

Oh and also from Boston, let me know what you decide.

I second Le Mirage. Great deal going on now.

Also, If you're solo and don't need a lot of fancy amenities check out Alvynegril. It's run by Miss Mae's family, of Joseph's Cave.

I thought Xtabi didn't have rooms with both a/c and views = one or the other.

Also, wondering about Rockhouse = never mentioned by boardies.
Hung out there briefly last trip, seemed nice. Thoughts?

I think Xtabi now has one cliffside cottage with AC. Might be worth looking into.

Most boardies probably feel that Rockhouse is a little expensive for what you get. The gardenside rooms are relatively affordable, but the cliffside rooms/cottages can be pricey. Also, the restaurant has gotten lackluster reviews, as of late. I know I wasn't impressed.

Personally, I think that Catcha or Tensing Pen have a much better vibe than Rockhouse.

Seems like you are booking on pretty short notice, so a lot of popular places are probably booked. Somebody mentioned Home Sweet Home, and I would be remiss if I didn't recommend them, as well. We have stayed there twice, and will be staying there again very soon. It's a great mid-range resort that has all of the amenities you need.
