    Re: Pre-trip Music

I've been listening to a lot of Chronixx too. Along with the classics we all know and love. Most of the time I stream my Pandora Reggae station and listen to "The Joint" on Sirius XM.

I also listen to a lot of "Afro Beat" music which I find many lovers of reggae also enjoy. The most popular Afro Beat artist Fela Kuti. It's not reggae (its origin is in Nigeria and is considered a form of jazz) but has a "roots" sound. It features a lot of drum and sax. Worth a listen if you like reggae.

Still playing Ziggy's "Fly Rasta" and ending it a lot! Stocking up on Ian Calder's House of Reggae podcasts can't hurt either.
