    Reservation at CocolaPalm

    We will be there in Feb. We booked a superior room through Orbitz. Anyone have any problem with their Orbitz reservation when they arrived? I read that Coco sometimes does not honor a specific room reservation from a booking agent like Orbitz. I'm worried we won't get the room we paid for.

    Although we've never booked with Orbitz I don't think you'll have a problem. A "specific room reservation" in my mind means a room (ie "I'd like room 421") and they only do that if you book directly with them. If you booked a superior room, that's what you'll get.

    Take a copy of your reservation with you that has a description of the room you booked. Recently a friend stayed there, they put her in one of the new rooms which was a hotel room with inside hallway and no patio or balcony, which she didn't care for (it was nice and brand new, but she wanted outdoor access). She showed them her reservation with description for balcony/patio and pressed for them to find her one. They moved her to one of the older rooms which was small, and she was happier with outdoor space.

    I would suggest what Lola stated as well as call Coco's reservation desk and re-confirm your booking thru Orbitz. I booked thru Orbitz in the past and also called the desk to confirm. No problem when we got down there. But as far as asking for a specific room, I 've learned that hotels/resorts won't commit to a specific room, but they''ll try.
