So why the mystery? Thanks. Interesting.
So.... if this is more than rumor... I'm curious what others on the board think... is this a good thing? I mean, jobs are good, that goes without saying (but I did). But would a second M'ville really be a welcome thing for the smaller businesses?
One loud overpriced tourist trap on the beach is enough!

Can't say I'm too excited about a 2nd Margaritaville on 7 mile beach. If it's going to be a Margaritaville-like venue, then I would probably give it a chance. But I'm certainly not interested in overpriced drinks and food service-style American food on the beach.
Margaritaville had the WORST Margarita I have ever tasted. When I asked for something to add to it he brought me rum punch to put in it~~CLEARLY he was NOT a BARTENDER~~

It is NOT a Margaritaville. The property is Jamaican owed and being developed privately.
Probably a restaurant and vendors.
My daughter's place "Fruits and Roots" was there before the construction and expect to be back after the improvements.

I hope Lindsay and some of the other long-time vendors get to maintain their businesses.
