I'd love to hear some of the old songs on vinyl but how to play them? These days it's hard to find a "record player".

'tis easy-peasy to *find* a record-player, or turntable, with or without speakers, with or without the capability to convert to MP3-format, etc etc.

GO to:::>> Amazon and search:::>> record player and/or turntable

in fact, there's a GOOD possibility that you'll find 'em in Target, Walmart, etc.

i remember the old days(early 80's) when i would go to sav and have the stores play 45's till i picked out 10 or 20 i liked. i could tell right off if i wanted that single. i think it was hardware type stores and they had a list of the top 20. i would point at that and they would start playing. sometimes i still listen to them. byron from the no limit bar would take me to sav on his way to school there

oh and Zaro's stamd had the best fried chicken but didn't see him last year.....love his chicken

When my ex and I split I had an emotional moment and just felt like getting rid of everything I owned (including my vinyl records) and just starting my life over again, a fresh start and all that. My collection went to the landfill.

    Regrets, I've had a few!

Should have kept them! (the records I mean, not the ex wife)

I've been collecting vinyl albums since 1973, {have 1275} probably a small collection by some folks collection,...but, Instead of "new" needle for the old turntable, I bought a brand new turntable by Audio Technica for $99 Amazon. It's not high end audiophile equipment, but its not baaad! Shame about the guy who put his lps in the landfill. I had a buddy who burned his collection. WTF!
