i am heartbroken

I,m at work , and I'm crying like a baby,because I just logged on, and got a private message from Negril.com. Usually, I would be thrilled, to see who I got a message from,as
I have been lucky enough to meet so many special people from this board.
But it was sorrowful news, someone telling me that their loved one passed. A couple that I was privileged to meet on the beach, and had been going to Negril for 30 plus years, and I had so
many laughs, at all their follies.
It was then I relized, this is not just a forum, but a treasure for me,in which I have met so many true, wonderful people, that I would not know otherwise. I think of you all, and to my good friend, I pray for you in this hard time. and I will have a red stripe for you both in February !

Thanks ! Its so wonderful she thought of me to tell me her beloved husband had passed. After 30 plus years, I'm sure she could not ever again go without him .
I remember they shared a balcony with me at the Bar B Barn, and I think they adopted me as a daughter, because they would stay up late, sitting on the balcony some nights, probably to make sure I got home okay !!lol !!

Jojo you are so right that this is a family. I have known several boardies who have since died. It is always a shock and a feeling of loss not just for me but for all. We feel your pain.
