    just a quick question, although I have been to Negril several times I am no means an Expert... but what is Willex ? as seen in the Menu

    I was shown a snail snagged from the cliffs near the water by a lifeguard at Tensing and he said that they were called Willex, but that's my guess.

    It's an acquired taste for sure. I found it a little bitter and chewy.

    They probably didn't purge them. Usually you put them in clean water for 24 hours or more (while they're living) to flush out their funk.
