Bug spray recommended by Smith 744

Hey Smith, I got 2 bottles of that Bug spray you recommended.
I'm at work and can't remember the name.
Got it from Duluth Trading Company on line.
    Question:
Do you use it on your skin and clothes too?
Sometimes a spray will be only for clothes.
So, how was your skin "if" you sprayed it on your arms and legs?
    No bad reaction I hope.

    Thanks mon.

I bought a quart of 37% permethrin for 22US on amazon.

That's enough for the whole family's clothes for months.

Permethrin only works on clothes. NOT ON HUMANS

Permethrin is an insect killer not repellent ( aithough killing sure is a repellent ) good for ticks , I would just use a repellent in Jah
Permethrin we use on the farm killing bugs

This is good info. In Minnesota we have a huge problem with ticks and lymes. Mosquitoes are quite a nuisance when camping or at the cabin. It would be nice to use less on the skin if one could get by with it. Sounds like you can treat your clothes to keep them off you but still need to treat bare skin areas? When I am at the cabin, I have to use 100% deet or your going to be eaten alive. Are there other ways to use Permethrin to control insects?

Permethrin forms a film that adheres to the fibers of the cloth. Doesn't work on skin.

The straight stuff last twice as long as Sawyer's is diluted for resale.

The mix for 37% is 2 oz to a gallon which will wet down a a bunch of clothes

But you have to buy a pint at least. However, for 22US it's a deal if you need that much......which we do at the yard
