Unhappy The "Old Grand Lido" property

I haven't been on forum much...I was just wondering what was being built on the old grand lido property? One of my favorite spots for years..

Grand Lido was torn down and the Royalton brand is building a brand new luxury resort.

The resort being built on the site of the old GLN is huge by comparison. They look to be squeezing a LOT of rooms into 4 story buildings not just where the GLN buildings were, but also on around the corner and up toward the point. It is going to be a very crowded place by the look of it. We were just at CN for the past week and the construction was ongoing all day and some nights. 10 pounds of poop in a 5 pound bag it seemed to me. To each their own.

Can't imagine how crowded the beach would be, and just how ,based on the amount of beach they will have will even accommodate that amount of people. It's also a shame that some of the condos at Point Village will be losing their ocean view. Stuff happens, but ......
