    When the $5000 came out, I remember businesses having signs saying that they would not accept them as they had no change.

    Now a $5000 won't even cover basic groceries...

    yeah $5,000J doesn't get you a lot of groceries here.....sometimes $10,000J doesn't either.....
    groceries in Sav are 20% to 50% less than in Negril even after paying the taxi fare to go to Sav....
