Yes, Colombia was/is known for high quality landrace sativa. Punta Roja was/is one, and I can't recall the other popular strain (Colombian Gold?) from back in the day. It isn't really exported now, so much tougher to find. Especially since FARC and other revolutionary and militia groups control the countryside.
edit: just read Treasure BeachBum's comment above about Colombian Gold. I need to slow down and read before posting.
They're not exporting weed from Columbia anymore, because Coke is so much more profitable.
What I mean is that were one so inclined as to go seek it out, it aint so easy today.
I still prefer weed. Love smoking Sweet Tooth. Awesome thing.
New guy hear looking forward to first trip next winter, wondering about the ability to use on hotel/beaches grounds (staying at Point Village). Are edibles the solution or can I smoke or vape, outside only of course.
Ganja is decriminalized in JA. Under 2 ounces is a minor infraction, carrying a small fine. You will see and smell ganja everywhere. Be considerate of those around you, and you can enjoy pretty much anywhere you can smoke cigarettes. Be respectful if there's a family around too.
Thanks, much appreciated.
Is this the same strain as what we use to call back in the 90's purple haze,,Oh yes and did my fair share of Columbia gold,
