Ok. Getting fidgety! Less than two weeks to go. I know September tends to be a slow time for a lot of stuff. I am going to certainly miss my sessions at the Boat Bar. Will be there 9/4 - 9 /9, checking the events calendar tells me there are still a lot of music options. Where should I go? Who will I see? Love to catch Pinky Dread and Prince J out.

I've been there before in May and Sept and not alot of music options really (alot of the bars listed in the Events Calendar won't have bands show up). The only places that I'm pretty sure will have music are the Seastar on Sat night for their show (call them to be picked up by their van) and Roots will have a band Mon and possibly Wed (checkout their Sign on the beach to be sure)....

So, the draw to going in the summer instead of winter. The flights are roughly the same, the place where I stay is $350 cheaper for 2 weeks. Less available as far as bars and restaurants. Is it just the privacy and silence that's the attraction? Just curious. The vibe must be a quiet hum.

Yeah, I just had a few days extra vacation time that I tacked onto the holiday weekend for a short, 5 day trip (I hate wasting precious vacation time). I found a decent deal for flight ($420) but it definitely is more about relaxing than partying visiting Negril in the summer (oh yeah, and the gorgeous blue ocean (that I see in Rob's videos) that we don't have here in Buffalo in the summer...lol).
