    C5 online immigration experience

We arrived last Saturday and I did the online Immigration...…… When we landed and were proceeding with the crowd I asked a couple Airport workers about how to get thru Immigration …….. They just pointed towards the normal path.....Didn't see any signs for the online registration...….got to where the Kiosks are and a worker told me to get into that line...….after 10 minutes of being in the line and seeing that everyone else had their filled out forms in their hands I asked another worker if I was in the right place..... she said No and pointed to another area...…. we got out of line and went down to that area and didn't see anything about the C5...….. I went over to the Club MoBay booth and asked them.....they pointed to a single walkway going straight to a Immigration officer...….That's when I saw a very small sign with the info on it...… Got to the officer and he asked all the same questions that were asked online and had to type everything into the computer...… You would think all the info would have come up on the screen...…..Then we proceeded to get our luggage and exit thru customs...… but, because we didn't have the filled out Custom form we had to go thru a different line that was very long...….
We always use Club Mobay but due to flight changes we weren't able to use their services this time......After our experience my recommendation would be to use Club MoBay and fill out the paperwork on the plane.....Much simpler and faster

We also used the online C5 arriving on the 16th. I also had a paper copy just in case. At this point we were also sent to the regular long lines. If we had stopped at the kiosks we would have got through quicker. I think once the get a line for the C5 it will work faster.

I used the online C-5 when I landed in early November. The line was all the way down the stairs but when I finally got to the top, everyone from my plane went to the kiosks and I just walked passed then. Took the straight line right in the middle that walks you right up to the front of Z lines and I was at an immigration desk 30 seconds later. Immigration officer found my online form after scanning my passport. All went well. The only issue was when I got to customs, I told the lady I had filled out the C-5 online. She had to reboot her computer, which took many 3- minutes. She just said very few people do it online, so when someone comes along that did, the computer went to "sleep".

Also, the first rule of walking through the airport, never ask an employee what to do or where to go. You will get an incorrect answer 100% of the time. I think it might even be a bit of a game with them. Stand here, don't stand there, go to this line, this line is closed, blah blah blah. Welcome to Jamaica within 5 minutes of getting off the plane.
