Vinnie's cooker wasn't firing but Veronica made us some fine fried chicken and steamed fish. I thought the jerk at Best in the West was as good as it has been for years. Less crowds allow them to cook the chicken longer and slower. Check out the stewed chicken at Montana's. Tony is cooking (Tekla is away in the states) and he does a fine job. He let us take plates for our takeaway so he spared us the wasteful boxes, and we just returned the plates (cleaned) the next day. Great stuff. Definitely have with mashed potatoes. Feeling cold and hungry after just returning stateside.
