@Irieworld Thanks, I have never done a report in all these years because I always feel like..who the heck wants to read about my vacation? lol. But this was a good one so thought I would would share some of it.
I have traveled solo there many times. It is exactly like what you said above..I can chill out with friends on the patio no problem, but after dark they close the gates at the front and security only let's in who you say is OK. So say someone comes up asking for you or something, he will either walk down or call your room to ask you if you want them to come in or not. There are only a handful of employees, so you get to know everyone there. I just make sure to tell everyone I send there, there has not been much done as far as upgrades to the rooms over the years...but they have a nice fridge, cold A/C and hot water (most times). Now the water pressure does leave something to be desired but whatever..it just takes a little longer to wash your hair. LOL.
