The fact that a young girl even knows what the Star rating is, is weird to me. That comes from the parents, surely.
At that age, the thought never crossed my mind about the hotel. The only thing I was concerned with was how cool the pool was or what fun place we were going. My parents made the decision on the room and I could care less, I can't recall ever having any feelings about the room because we were pretty much only there to wash up and sleep. The only exception to that was when we went to Niagra Falls when I was probably 8 and we had a room that had a vibrating bed....do you remember those? You put a quarter in and the whole bed vibrated. At the time I thought that was about the coolest thing ever!

Of course, it comes from the parents. I used to work for a travel agent who "specfically" told me her daughters have NEVER stayed at a budget hotel & her idea of budget was a Best Western.....

LOL! Vibrating beds kick ass... I remember pulling up to the KOA and hoping they had a pool.
