Rhodes Hall would be a great spot for solitude and peace and quiet.
Chef Shane is very talented and has a great personality.

gerryg123, Just swim out and several reefs there with some kick--- snorkeling!! Guess the fact that it is a bit further from the reefs near Booby Cay...less traffic, protected reefs....whatever the reason, it is worth it check it out if you enjoy snorkeling. Plus, a nice relaxing place to chill for a while afterwards. It's definitely worth the trip for a chill-axing day!

Agree!!!-Snorkling around the shore and by the little rock island behind the pool is good too.Its all protected. We snorkeled ALL around. We never got tired of exploring deffernt places to look around to look. Then we would go back to the same spots just to go see if the same fish was in the same spot.Never got tired of snorkling around Rhodes!!

Same here. My only source of consternation is when you snorkel between the big rock and the pool is that it can get a little bit shallow and those spiny urchins look awfully close!! Could have been a trick of the eye - distance looks different underwater but no harm, no injury incurred and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rhodes Hall is beyond gorgeous. Spent a day there in 2009. Seriously considered staying there for this trip, but just decided it'd be too quiet for me, I'm in need of some noise & lots of people around! Anyhoo, there are chickens, guineas and some outstanding peacocks all over the property. And if you wander around quietly, you'll catch site of a Mongoose! I actually got a pick of this little critter when I was there. Ooh they actually had an Ackee tree with Ackee on it ready to eat! It's a true paradise, honestly. I'll try to attach a pick of the Mongoose, I could not believe my eyes, we were actually talking about spotting Mongoose & here he came as if on cue!
