    Also just announced....
The Soundtrack to the film "Marley" will be released on April 17th!

    (Taken from the Press Release)
As an integral companion piece to this critically acclaimed documentary, the official soundtrack from MARLEY will be released through Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) on April 17, 2012, as a 2-CD collection and a special 3-LP vinyl set. The CD contains 24 tracks, hand-picked by the Marley family and Chris Blackwell, gathering together some of the most significant musical moments of one of the most beloved and cherished artists of all-time. Featured are classic studio recordings, a special Kindred Spirit dub mix of “Exodus” and tracks from various live performances including, for the first time on record, the 1978 One Love Peace Concert performance of “Jammin’” during which Marley joined the hands of bitter political rivals Michael Manley and Edward Seaga, a gesture which went some way towards restoring peace to a strife-torn Jamaica.

The tracklisting of the soundtrack, which follows the chronology of the film, is as follows:

    CD 1

    1. Corner Stone

    2. Judge Not

I love the line in the trailer, where Bob says something like, 'if my life is only about my own security, I don't want it. My life is about helping other people' (paraphrased)

    Lola- you are so right
There are so many clips and quotes where he seems to just be talking about nothing at all, yet he says so much.
It amazes me how wise he was and how some of his most common statements can reach so deep and across so many barriers, religions, races, backgrounds, etc.
    What an amazing man!

    Marley,
I just read the thread title and jumped on to compliment you about being so clever and timely.
I thought you were talking about your next trip.

    Oh well.

I went to the 1978 tour in Madison WI.
They played the Orpheum on State Street.

This is flooding me with moemories, thanks for the heads up!

Well yes, my title was somewhat on purpose! I thought it was funny! LOL

Rum, how awesome that you were able to see him in concert, very nice!
This is a really special movie.
Unfortunately it is only going to be in theatres in about 10 markets on 4/20, but it will be on demand and of course the dvd
But the soundtrack will be available everywhere and boy doesn't it sound like a good one?
