Yahhhh Booger! ........ My flights keep going up $200...a day up to $1300....its not looking good at all for me ......It might be cheaper if i could drive and take a ferry ........OR just go to miami and put on scuba gear and float there .....Im not past doing that to save money...But Ill have boogers back up video at least!

Im having the same issue Patty from here in Canada.They all have lay overs which make the flight anywhere from 8-23 hours or I can take another one that is 6 1/2 hours but the seats food and drink are horrible! up to 1032.00 now

Patty, is it feasible for you to drive somewhere to fly out? $837 is a lot better than $1200!

I can get a bit better out of minneapolis (and have done it) But it is over a 5 hour drive and I usually have to get to work the next morning at 6am ...so getting in minneapolis at midnight leaves me driving all night just to pull into the parking lot at work..

So when I do make my plans to go , I have to plan a flight day and arrival day into the whole picture....Im in nursing and 12 hour shifts ( 3 month in advance hold your breath vacation requests that are not always approved it can get scarry to book last minute) But Im seriously thinking to fly into canada and fly out as they get better fares than we do by 4x

Dang! this is nuts....where are our old 430$ fares...thats what makes this so flustrating...everyone else still has them but us..

Patty Sather - I really hope you're able to find a cheap ticket for an April Trip! That would be so awesome! Markus and I would be so thrilled to meet you!

Grand Pineapple is really accomodating with reservation changes (believe me I know from experience!) and you would probably save some money because it's off peak rates.

If you're willing to deal with an overnight stay in Miami - you could score an American Airlines flight for $764 leaving Fargo at 11:45 AM Thursday, April 19th and arriving in Montego Bay at 10:40 AM, Friday April 20th. (just in time for Booger's 4/20 Bash!) Return flight would be April 30th though...

I completely understand your dilemna with vacation days. I had to jump through hoops at work to make this upcoming trip happen.

I've got my fingers crossed though! If a flight price drop is going to happen, it will probably happen next Tuesday morning.

I was shocked that prices from Los Angeles were actually pretty reasonable -- as of a few weeks ago when I pressed the button -- but on the prior reach I paid $732 which killed me. Anything over 7 bills, you better have a GOOD LONG TIME to make it worth it!
