Booger,

Yes, your information is incorrect and yes, there is a sign on the right hand side of the Sandy Haven property - ON THE FAR RIGHT HAND SIDE ON THE POLE ON THE NEXT DOOR PROPERTY. You are mistaken in what you thought you saw.

There is nothing improper about the next door property informing people that there is no food or drinks allowed. All that the property next door, Sun Beach, sells is food and drinks. That is their proper right as a business to not allow those that are not paying customers to not use their facilities.

I am not sure what your "fridge" comment has to do with anything. There is no sign that you somehow think there is, there is no policy against what you think there is, and as far as I know, other than a mini bar, I am not aware of any kitchen facilities/fridge in any of the rooms at Sandy Haven.

And as for any business, without revenue, any business would not exist.

As far as "When any business establishment sells both food and drinks, it is more often than not proper to purchase the food and drink at that property." Really? What is so improper about using the provided fridge in most hotels to store and consume your offsite purchases? I have only stayed in 3 places in Negril, all of which had fridges, and all of which had other guest using them for their outside purchases. It's not a matter of proper for the hotel, it's a matter of revenue.
