Thank you Mrs Patty for coming thru.......
Joe made the transfer with us to Catcha on Sunday and started drinking right away....
I had talked this place up with Jon for quite some time and Jon was eager to check it out. This time his room (Gemini II) was ready and ours (Libra) was not, a reversal from Seastar. So we dropped our bags in his room at hit the cliffs to start our jumping. Only problem is the sea was ANGRY! I only jumped once an swam my ass off to get out. No worries, the seas will chill soon and we have 3 days to jump, or so I thought.
A great thing about Catcha is they have a pool if the seas get rough. But until than it was time to chill in my favorite spot.
After taking it all in it was time to hit the bar and see who was there. Low and behold I ran into the rock stars themselves.
The cool kids ended up being my favorite peeps of the trip. Pay attention as I will say this again.Seriously though, these two were made for each other. So much love and so much character wrapped up into two wonderful people.
Sandie says let's take in the sunset, and I oblige as it has been 3 days and I have yet to see a sunset. The camera dries up after this as we were too busy taking each other in to take pictures. However we had our first meal of the trip at Ivan's this night with Jon and Tizzy on a double date.
I was staring at the menu trying to decide what the heck to get when Sandie tells me to sit tight as she peels off toward the kitchen. Next thing you know Jon and I have tenderloin and smashed potatoes showing up in the most killer sauce I have ever had. I am not big on beef in Jamaica as it taste too gamey too me, however tonight's meal was something special. Garfield the chef came thru big time and Jon and I were quiet until our plate was empty. Thanks Garfield once again for another amazing meal. A meal at Ivan's is more than just a meal, it is an experience. And do not forget to ask for some pumpkin soup. OMG. I could drink this stuff day and night for a month and still not get sick of it. Sandie gets her usual of seafood linguine, which those in the know say is one of the best dishes at Ivan's.
The next day was nothing but pure relaxation on the cliffs of Catcha. The seas were still angry so the pool became the chill spot for the day. Carol whipped up one of her wonderful Purple Rains for us as we relaxed and did nothing for the entire day, well at least until night hit.
C&D bar soon come.....
