My hubby and I are planning our 2nd trip to Negril. We really want something that is as private as we can get, yet not too far from other stuff to do. We are looking at the different places with cottages on the cliffs. What are your suggestions for the most private place to stay with great views of the water from the room? We'd really like some outdoor place at our room/cottage to hang out, too. Like a porch or something.

There are some great cottages at country country--but they are not ocean view. Nirvana has some wonderful ocean views.
Nirvana cottage are tight. If I make it back to the beach and they are available I would stay there. You need to book months out. Like the size of the beach there too.Originally Posted by irieworld
The owner's villas at Nirvana is awesome, have stayed there twice, going back this Christmas. It has a covered porch right on the beach with a ceiling fan, hammock and swing chair. Nothing between you and the ocean except trees.
If we choose Nirvana-is there a particular room or cottage that has the most privacy?
We are considering splitting our stay - 3 days on the beach and 3 on the cliffs. I really appreciate everyone's input!
