Thanks so much! How cool that we are arriving on the same day. We are staying at the Rockhouse. :-) My boyfriend actually planned the whole trip as a surprise birthday present for me, so I know nothing about the place, but I already know that I can't wait to get there! :-)

Hi Rooster (cute name!) Wow, 21 years visiting Negril! 5 weeks?! Nice! We are only staying for a little over 2 weeks. You had me at Lobster Thermidor LOL! I'm so ordering that! Funny, I haven't even been there yet, but I already told my bf that I think I will probably want to go back! LOL! What's the name of your hotel?

Sunset Of The Cliffs
It's an older place..but in stay in a 2nd fl. rm..with my deck perched about 75ft (if that ) from the beautiful blue sea...it's spectactular. I go to sleep & wake up to the waves crashing into the cliffs. AHH...yes the coffee maker goes off (on my the deck) & get up to watch the fisherman reel in the nights catch...rough morning...right..LOL.
The resort staff gave that name years ago....because I always make sure they are taken care of during my stay. They told me why they gave that name....the Rooster looks after his flock....& guilty as charged...that's exactly what I do!!! Well I always come bearing gives them...there's that..LOL. Are you kidding me...from what I get from them & their culture...I'm a not religious person...but they give me a breath of life that I've not found elsewhere. The great thing of Negril is...since my first trip in '88 (yea I skipped a few years going other places) it hasn't changed all that much...& I love it. Where in the world can you find a place where mankind hasn't exploited it with major hotels...tell me. My hope's it's stay's with way....we'll see.
