The sidewalks will be a nice alternative to almost being run over while walking along the side of the road. Knowing Jamaican drivers, you will now be able to be run over on the sidewalks!

There are two more sets of lights going up in the next week or so, and the sidewalks and median that are planned will be raised - I seriously doubt anyone would want to destroy their tires, suspension and/or vehicle to get up on the raised sidewalks or median...
The progress is moving forward and is scheduled to be done by the end of the year.
