Stopped to check out the spanishtown square, downtown kingston to check out an old synagogue, blue mountain to pick up lots of real coffee, st ann's to take a dip in the firewata among other stops. it's a good way to scope out places in jamaica and there is always time to stop. lots of driving but the good vibes from gregory make up for it completely!

Depending on how often you stop i'd say it's more around 12/13 hours. That length of tour is not for everybody, but if you are game for an epic day i would say go for it!

    those stops must have been very short . . . it's like a drive through . . . just looking, never really get a feel for a place . . . that's some fast driving . . .

In 1969 - 70 I lived in a flat in Beverly Hills. It's about 1/4 of the way up from Town.

At the time it was a very high rent district. Luckily I wasn't paying the rent.

    Thanks for the memory......

As for doing the Island in a day.... I've done it several times under extreme duress ...

    Glad you enjoyed it..
