We have always traveled in low season September. Now we want to come in February. Days are shorter so night time entertainment will be more important. Any recommendation's? We like bar setting, friendly people, safe, easily accessible and on the beach. We know of some but things are different during low season.
Should be lots of parties in honor of Bob Marleys birthday. Feb 1-6. Check out MXIII or Sea star.
Watch for concerts at places like Bourbon Beach. Usually some great talent in February. Show start at 10:00 pm and later.
Don't forget Pee Wees birthday bash on February 8th real good time at a great old negril bar. One of the best party's on the west end. I try to be there every year.
No self-respecting Jamaican band would come on stage before midnight. DON'T start early!

Day length doesn't change much in Jamaica, nightfall around 7-ish? February is high season so you should find plenty atmosphere @ the bars. Jazz somewhere on Thursdays, Charela?
Plenty goin on in February, you will not be disappointed.

February is a great month for nightlife in Negril!!! All over Jamaica too.... it's Bob Marley week... many of the clubs/hotels on the beach have events... MXIII usually has something for 1 or 2 nights... u will see all the signs posted near the roundabout and all over really.Originally Posted by wnyjim
