I appreciate your comments, thanks for taking time out to read!![]()
Perspective:
Some things I noticed a few weeks ago.
1. An increased police presence from Montego Bay to Negril.
2. Multiple first responder vehicle's...ie, ambulances and fire trucks.
3. White hats (police) make daily rounds at 12pm-2 at bars. Almost daily, I saw them at Bourbon, Near Las Vegas, and other "hot" spots.
4. Also, they (police) patrolled the water.
5. More water related activities...boating, parasailing, liquid yoga, water skiing, tourists using floaties and more children swimming.
6. An increase in New businesses.
7. Haggling and Hustling was at an all time low. Maybe because it is slow season?
8. The cheapest mango I found was for $200, others were $250-$300J
9. Bourbon Beach is the go to place now, since all shows are free. They make their money selling drinks.
10. Within a few years, the sidewalk will need replacing.

Awesome report, Kaycee! It was a great adventure and a lot of fun to see it through your words and pictures. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Kaycee, there is just something about the way you post your experiences... it is like painted poetry or music the way it comes out.
Like your vignette of the early riser... although you tell of your and others reactions, I feel the 'daring do or die' of his moment.
