I don't agree with the dark roast part, at most it should be medium roast. Dark roast destroys the delicate flavor of Blue Mountain coffee, as well as reducing the caffeine.

Blue Mountain Coffee contains 1/3 less caffeine than most other coffee, so if you're drinking BMC for it's caffeine content, you're cheating yourself. Secondly, the dark roast brings out the boldness (and smoothness at the same time) of the BMC for which it is famously known. And, if you read the reviews of Lina's medium roast (or city roast as they call it) many agree that it's just too light i.e. no flavor.

I disagree with all of that except the fact that JBM contains less caffeine to begin with. JBM isn't known for its "boldness" at all, it's known for its light, delicate flavor and low acidity.
    I'm a coffee snob.
