Drivers may charge what they want even when they are part of JUTA (Jamaica Union of Travellers Assoc.), JCAL or Maxi...these companies recommend to their driver members a price of $80us one way from Montego Bay to Negril based on current gas prices, insurance costs, wait/driving times etc...but the drivers can choose to charge more or less as they see fit.
