I never complain about airfare because non stop is really great and we know to many people that have at least one and sometimes more stops and that eans way to many chances to loose luggage and lets face it,if my wife looses her bag my vacation is shot!!

Air Tran has a couple of flights out of Midway Chicago...we booked on the one stop at orlando and nonstop back...with preferred seating it was $1067 for two...now they have nonstop both ways for same price..around $450+ per person.

Well after the WestJet flight sold out we ended up with a bit of a deal lol. First class on air Canada for just over $1000 each one way (includes free hotel during 8 hour layover in Toronto, then return on westjet (with another overnight stay in Toronto, our dime), for another $820 each. So just to step on Jamaican soil and come home, $3700.00 Ouch.

WELL....airmiles get's us both there and back for $165 all in. 2 stops on the way..... 18 hours total each way. Not looking forward to the travel but I just couldn't resist the price. Oh an w'ere flying United for the first time. Just not sure what to think of that!!! Anyone had experience with them? Good? Bad?

Air miles are how I usually book first class. If not it is roughly $1000-$1500 round trip. OUCH!

I've had several flights recently on United. Even if you are flying using your miles, can you upgrade to economy plus? I'd try to - at least any long legs of your flight, you can do it by the individual flight and the couple of inches of leg room make a big difference.
