Is it just me? Beach etiquette

One time these two ladies sat next to me and started smoking cigarettes. I politely asked them to either not smoke or move because cig smoke gives me a headache. I mean afterall, I was there first, right? Well not only did they not move, but those two witches made my stay miserable until they left. Some people don’t realize they are being discourteous and others do. So now, since I can’t tell the difference I’m happy to be the one to move. Yes even if it means picking up my blanket, towel and the rest of my 6-pack.

Did the flick their butts in the sand when they were done? First, they subject a perfect stranger to the deadly effects of second hand smoke, then they litter. I would love for a smoker to explain why they think it is okay to simply discard their butts wherever it may be convenient for them.
