We have At&t and our Iphone 4 and 4s worked fine the last two years on the cliffs, only thing with even with the international roaming it is a little costly but works great.

Depending on the roaming plan, the cost to "roam" in Jamaica can be a little costly to very very costly. Please read the fine print on your plan carefully! Or simply unlock the phone there or here (the max cost would be ja$1500 or about us$16) and get a sim card (about us$5). Daily roaming on some international plans can be the better part of us$100... per day... and that does not include the per data usage or per call expense... simply the roaming charge...Originally Posted by Living_the_Dream

Yes. To be clear, I want to use my iPhone with a Jamaican carrier. I am not interested in paying AT&T roaming charges. Can I buy data usage from Digicel, too?
